This page is dedicated to all that is Wind Ensemble. Traditionally a 10th-12th grade course, this is the top level band here at MV. Participation in this group is strictly by audition only. Yearly performances include a debut concert, holiday concert, winter concert (intermittent), 3 festival performances and a spring concert.

Chair Placement Auditions
The auditions for seating within each of the sections occurs the first week we are in school. A scale is required for all members (any scale from the current CBDA audition list). Every member of the class must choose at least one of the excerpts that are part of the CBDA All State auditions for their respective instrument. This music is provided to each student prior to the previous school year ending. Click here to download and print your audition music.
