Programs you can download and listings of code will be posted here for TI Calculators.

To use the download
links, you must have the TI "graphlink" or TI-Connect software and
interface cable to connect to your computer (this is *not* the same as
the simple wire cable you use to share programs with friends). Files will ordinarily
download as "zip" files to your computer hard drive. Use a utility
such as WinZip to extract or "unzip" the file, and you will then have
a program file in TI file format (e.g., a .83P file for a TI-83Plus, a .89P
file for your TI-89, etc.). After extracting or unzipping, you can use the graphlink
or connect software to load it onto your calculator, edit it, or modify it as
you wish.

For the TI-89, use these (they'll also run on the TI-92, TI-92Plus, or Voyage 200):

*NOTE: slope fields and the standard Euler's method are built-in to the 89,
89 Titanium, 92Plus, and V200, so no program is needed. Set your mode choice
of FUNCTION, PARAMETRIC, POLAR, etc. to "DIFF EQUATION" and it will
do it for you. Euler's method can be selected from the Diff Eq graph screen
- use F1 Tools, 9 Format, and select Solution Method "Euler"; you
can then set tstep in your window variables, and use the Table to see values.
The "Improved" Euler's method (using an average slope with intermediate
points) that is described in the Finney Demana textbook is not built-in; you
can use the Euler program below for that method, and for the standard method
if you wish.*

For the TI-86, use these links:

*NOTE: slope fields and the standard Euler's method are built-in to the 86,
so no program is needed. Set your mode choice (Func, Pol, Param, DifEq) to "DifEq"
and it will do it for you. Go to Graph, select "More", "Format",
and you can choose "Euler" and "SlpFld". Set your initial
condition with INITC, set your tstep in the Window variables, and you can view
values with the Table. The "Improved" Euler's method (using an average
slope with intermediate points) that is described in the Finney Demana textbook
is not built-in; a program for that will be posted here as soon as I write one!*
